Pyxis® Transfusion Verification from CareFusion significantly reduces the potential for errors during the blood transfusion process by enabling the association and positive identification of blood products at the point of care. The Pyxis Transfusion Verification application fully automates the transfusion documentation process and maximizes communication between your clinical decision makers.

Using Pyxis Transfusion Verification, you can verify patient identification information, display patient-specific orders for blood administration, confirm ordered and assign blood products for the patient, as well as track blood for release, delivery and administration.
