Wet PVP-I Vaginal Preparation Tray

We offer several standard configurations that are most compliant with recommended clinical practice.

Use where ChloraPrep® skin antiseptic is contraindicated.
  1. Open plastic bag, remove contents, and unfold overwrap.
  2. Scrub area for 5 minutes using circular motion, starting at the surgical site and moving outward.
  3. Blot.
  4. Paint the surgical site in a circular motion, starting at the site and moving outward.
  5. Remove any solution that has pooled under patient or has soaked the hospital linens.
  6. Discard all materials after use.

Vaginal prep trays offer anatomically shaped, contoured stick scrub sponges to facilitate a more gentle prep for a sensitive area. Vaginal prep trays are available with premeasured bottles of solutions or with convenient pre-impregnated pouches of solution. All Scrub Care® PVP-I solutions have been tested safe for mucous membrane preps, including vaginal preps.
